Bright colors are popping up everywhere this season! Neon has been ruling the runway with designers such as;  Tibi, Prada, Givenchy, Chloe and alice + olivia. I love the pops of bright color this time of year. With 5 days until Spring, I’m highlighting (no pun intended!) some fun ways to ramp up your color game.

Below, in my neon color story, you will see how you can implement the color scheme either in a big way or just add little pops of neon to your outfit. Neon outfit ideas are endless, but I will show below some really gorgeous pieces and explain how you can use specific parts of the outfit in various ways!

My stylist Mark and I wanted to use this Maje Blue fur coat and add some yellow. We pulled an alice + olivia mini skirt, Maje graphic “Ride with me” t-shirt, added the fur coat, Schultz heels and a funky Rebecca Minkoff glitter envelope clutch.

This entire outfit can be worn in so many different ways. For example, you can take the graphic t-shirt, throw on some jeans, add the yellow shoe and glitter clutch for a more dressed down feel. You can take the yellow skirt, add some black pumps or strappy sandals, a sheer black blouse and a black handle or bucket bag for a night out. There are so many options to take pieces from this outfit to use in so many different ways.

In this next look, we added alice + olivia signature lace with this feminine lace midi skirt,  and an alice + olivia graphic Guns and Roses tee-shirt.  We styled these two pieces together for a edgy feminine vibe and topped off the look with a tailored neon coat from Zara along with same Schultz pumps.

There are so many ways to switch up this look. I plan to wear the Zara coat and pumps with jeans and a white tee-shirt. You can also pair this skirt with a black cami and black heels, or take the tee-shirt, throw on some distressed jeans, a leather jacket, keep the Schultz pumps and throw your hair in a messy pony tail and voila!… you have an “on trend”, understated, neon look.

This entire outfit takes the neon trend to the next level adding various colors together for a beautiful piece of art. The bright orange jacket, paired with the pink cami and yellow pants go perfectly together. Adding the pop with the blue shoes was a last minute pull. I was hesitant to pair this with the blue pumps, but Mark hit it out of the park with bringing the blue in on this look.  The white bucket bag by Rebecca Minkoff is a perfect addition to top off this outfit.

Neon Barbie! BAM! This look was my favorite. It is bound to be a head turner and catch the attention of many. The bright yellow with the fuschia pink makes me feel like I’m in a Barbie world!  I felt so powerful in this! Bringing in the yellow blazer makes this look chic and sophisticated while keeping it super fun at the same time. If you want to capture more attention on a night out, take the blazer off and rock the dress alone. Either way you are set to impress.

Va Va Voom!  Another piece from alice + olivia’s latest collection, this pink silk gown, is to die for! If you have an event or wedding to go to this Spring or Summer, GET THIS GOWN. This style comes in various colors and is a knock out of a dress…trust me.

I paired this gown with a beaded floral clutch from “From St. Xavier” and white Louboutins. There are so many ways to style this gown, the options are endless! Below I wore the same dress, added a oversized Levi’s jean jacket, Maje tennis shoes and a clutch. Who says you can’t wear a gown on an ordinary day?  Certainly not me!… everyday is extraordinary.

I took my next neon look to Philly. My final outfit in this series is clearly the most dressed down. I’m a woman who (when not in Yoga pants) loves to rock jeans and tennis shoes, so being able to stay on trend with this Adam Selman mock neck top and bringing in the jeans, jacket and tennis shoes, made this my favorite.
